BoomWriter

Posted on 20:34 by Unknown
BoomWriter is a site that I've been working w/ for a few months now.  I'm excited to report that they are launching a big event Aug 8th w/ a story from a celebrity guest author, Pebbles from JAM'N 94.5.  Along w/ this exciting news comes a website redesign and lots of new story starters and published books to look through.

So, if you've never heard of BW before it is an excellent site for teachers to inspire reading/writing for grades 3-8th.  This is done by having students write a story online and then vote on which chapter should be included.  This is all done in an innovative and fun way where classes signup and login in online.  This educational portal is ideal for education.  Once a book is completed it can then be published online or even ordered as am actual book.

I highly recommend checking out BoomWriter by clicking here!!!

BeeClip

BeeClip is a wonderful site for teachers/students for creating digital scrapbooks.  This is all done through a very user friendly drag-n-drop interface and users can upload videos and photos.  Best of all this is done through a educational portal which allows teachers to view and track student projects in a "safe" environment.

I highly recommend checking out BeeClip by clicking here!!!

*BeeClip is a paid advertiser of Technology Tidbits.

Nulu

Posted on 21:53 by Unknown
Nulu is a new (beta) site ideal for Foreign Language teachers wanting to teach a new language.  This site has an educational portal which allows for students/classes to sign up and learn a language through choosing a current event news topic to read.  These stories are then translated into a language, annotate words/phrases, and even help w/ pronunciation.  Through an innovative flash card system for studying words students can use self reflection for learning by setting words to: easy, medium, or hard.  Best of all a teacher can track student progress and reading comprehension.

I highly recommend checking out Nulu by clicking here!!!
