Google Course Builder

Posted on 20:40 by Unknown
Google Course Builder has been causing quite the buzz on the internet today (besides the iPhone 5).  This is a nice free tool for designing educational courses, tools, materials, videos, etc.  It pretty much can be for anything centered around education.  While this is a free a tool it does require some knowledge of HTML and Javascript.

For more information on Google Course Builder click here.

In Touch Teacher

Posted on 20:31 by Unknown
In Touch Teacher is a new (beta) site that I just found out about.  This is an excellent communication tool for teachers to stay in touch w/ parents in a secure environment.  This is done by registering and creating a class that only invited parents can join.  A teacher can then keep parents up to date through: online calendars, digital notes, photos, and even sign-up sheets.

I highly recommend checking out In Touch Teacher by clicking here!!!

InfuseLearning

Posted on 18:05 by Unknown
Wow, Wow, and more Wows.  InfuseLearning is a learning response system that is ideal for any BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) program.  This is a free site that works on mobile devices and allows teachers to quiz or poll students in public or private classrooms.  A private classroom is ideal for CIPA compliance and allows teachers to create student accounts.  Also, teachers can include images in their questions.  Another great feature is IL allows for differentiation by translating or speaking text.

I highly recommend checking out InfuseLearning by clicking here!!!

Class Dojo app

Posted on 07:20 by Unknown
Class Dojo one of my favorite new sites has just released a free iOS app that integrates fully w/ their website.  As w/ CD this is a super user friendly app to use and has a great look.  A teacher can now manage student behavior from their iOS device and even use it to select random students (via button or shaking device).

I highly highly recommend checking out Class Dojo's free iOS app by clicking here!!!
